Melbourne, Fla. - Florida Tech dominates Saint Leo, 164-47, on Saturday afternoon at the Panther Aquatic Center.
The Panthers entered Saturday's meet looking to send their seniors on a high note and to earn qualifying times for NCAA.
Tech won nine of 13 events and produced several more top-three performances and personal best.
Florida Tech lead off the event with a second-place finish in the 200 free relay. The event was participated by John Fonnotto, Nathaniel Boccuzzo, Alexander Kidd, and Remington Greko.
Daniel Aizenberg recorded an impressive first individual win setting a new school record at the Panther Aquatic Center. Aizenberg set his new record in the 100 back (47.68) shaving two seconds off his previous time.
Following Aizenberg was Carter Matteson (2nd, 53.03), Nathaniel Allen (3rd, 54.15), and Kidd (4th, 54.63) all setting personal best.
In the 100 breast, Nathaniel Boccuzzo (1st, 57.20), Colby Garthwaite (2nd, 58.23), Brandon Blair (3rd, 58.68), and Elias Econopouly (5th, 59.33) all posted personal best for Florida Tech. Later in the 200 back, the group did it again with Boccuzzo (2:07.82), Econopouly (2:10.21), Garthwaite (2:10.31), and Blair (2:10.49).
Tech took the first three spots in the 50 free, Jandre Moll (1st, 20.29), Max Martino (2nd, 20.94), and Farran Barker (3rd, 21.03) while recording personal best once again.
Josh Davis (1st, 4:07.79) and Samuel Hartle (2nd, 4:11.47) took the first two spots in the 400 IM while setting two additional personal best.
Session two started with a first-place finish and a personal best by Jandre Moll in the 100 free (44.25).
Fonnotto (1st, 1:55.07), Carter Matteson (2nd, 1:59.10), and Kidd (3rd, 2:01.87) took the first three spots in the 200 back.
Ethan Kennedy won the 500 free with a time of 4:44.82 and another lifetime best.
Florida Tech ended the day on top winning the 200 free relay (1:22.53) joined by Aizenberg, Martino, Moll, and Barker.
"Finishing the year at home with a win was the perfect finish for the season and a perfect way to send off our seniors", said head coach David Dent. "We had countless lifetime best and a couple of school records. This was one of the best meets I've ever witnessed here at Florida Tech."
Florida Tech had two incredible performances by Savannah Brennan, on the women's side, and Aizenberg both setting school records on the last meet of the 2020-21 season.
"Savannah and Daniel both improved upon their national rankings, so we'll see where that puts them later this week when the NCAA posts the qualifying lists".

Florida Tech will now wait for the qualifying list from the NCAA. The NCAA Division II Swimming and Diving Championships will be hosted in Birmingham, Ala. at the Birmingham Crossplex. The event will start Wednesday, March 17, and will end Saturday, March 20.
