CLEARWATER, Fla. – The men's swimming team concluded the 2022 Sunshine State Conference Swim Championships on Sunday at the Long Center.

Tech finished the meet in fifth place with a total of 322.5 points.Â

Daniel Aizenberg medaled for the second consecutive day, thanks to his 1:47.22 time that earned him third place in the 200 Back final. During the morning prelims, he broke the school record for the event with a time of 1:47.18.

Seth Kibler placed ninth in the 1650 free A final with a time of 15:57.09, while
Joshua Davis finished 18th with a time of 16:47.27.Â

Jandre Moll won the 100 free B final with a time of 44.96, which was .02 ahead of his closest competition.
John Fonnotto won the 200 back B final with a 1:50.44 finish, which kept him .34 ahead of second place.
Kyle Gibson won the 200 breast B final with a 2:02.47 time that was nearly two full seconds ahead of his closest competitor.
Alexander Kidd finished fourth in the 200 back B final with a time of 1:52.36.

Farran Barker Nathaniel Allen and Aizenberg grabbed sixth in the 400 free relay A final with a time of 3:00.52. The group of
Max Martino,
Remington Greko,
Jacob Coutant and
Joao Nascimento took third in the B Final with a time of 3:05.09.Â

This concludes the regular season portion of the Panthers' schedule. They now await word for qualification for the NCAA Championships on March 9-12 in Greensboro, North Carolina.Â
