- The Panthers opened the scoring in the first inning with Brett Parrish driving in Gabe Garett on an RBI sacrifice fly to center field.Â
- AUM tied the game in the second inning on an RBI single up the middle by Cole Kehoe.Â
- Roman Samson and Austin Sewell each singled in the fourth inning, but Tech was unable to score them. Â
- Means finished his day with a 1-2-3 sixth inning. His final line was six innings pitched, one earned run on two hits with three strikeouts and three walks. Â
- RHP Tyler Vermillion came out of the bullpen and threw two scoreless innings with two strikeouts. He was the winning pitcher for the Panthers. Â
- Sewell gave the Panthers the lead in the eighth inning with an RBI single to left field that scored Sam Schner. Â
- The Panthers got an insurance run later in the eighth on a fielding error that scored Sewell. Â
- RHP Ridge Skarbek got the save recording three ground outs in the ninth inning. Â
- Florida Tech had 12 hits on the day with Sewell leading the way with three hits.Â
- The pitching staff for the Panthers held AUM to just three hits.Â
