OCALA, Fla. – Florida Tech men's swimming Sunshine State Conference 2024 Season came to an end with the final day of the SSC Swim Championship on Sunday night as the Panthers took home sixth place in the standings with a score of 356 Points.
The University of Tampa found themselves at the top of the standings to be named the 2024 SSC Men's Swimming Champions as the team put together a total of 854 points. placing second was Nova Southeastern with 659 points and behind the Sharks in third was Florida Southern with 543 Points.

Luke Altmann swam into the A Final's of 100 Free, as he managed to end up placing seventh overall with a time of 44.78.
In the 200 Back,
Akos Hajagos represented the Panthers in the A Finals with an eighth-place finish while swimming the race in a time of 1:52.76. In the B Finals of the 200 Back,
Jay Jay Fonnotto finished in second place following a final time of 1:50.80.
In the B Final of the 200 Breast,
Connor Orth was the Crimson and Gray's only swimmer as he recorded a third-place finish in the time of 2:04.38.
Florida Tech's 400 Free Relay A Final team consisted of
Akos Hajagos,
Luke Altmann,
Matteo Caruso and
Josh McLean recording a 5
th place finish in 3:00.71. Tech's B Final team of
David Armstrong,
Max Martino,
George Jekov and
Daniel Aizenberg took third in the B Final, swimming the relay in3:04.34.
