Bromage Tabbed SSC Offensive Player of the Week

MELBOURNE, Fla. – Florida Tech women's soccer's Izzie Bromage has been named Sunshine State Conference Offensive Player of the Week, as announced by the league office, Monday.

Izzie Bromage, a freshman from Westport, Massachusetts, notches her first SSC Offensive Player of the Week award of her collegiate career for her performances against Palm Beach Atlantic on Wednesday, Oct. 1 and Tampa on Saturday, Oct. 4.

Against the Sailfish, Bromage made Florida Tech history as she scored the fastest goal in program history as she found the back of the net in 10 seconds. Her goal would hold up as Tech defeated PBA 1-0. Bromage added her second goal of the week in the 34th minute against Tampa to give the Panthers the lead.

Bromage is tied for fifth in the SSC with four goals this season and is tied with her teammate, Lauryn Wood, for the team lead. This mark the second time this season a Panther has been awarded SSC Offensive Player of the Week as Lauryn Wood did so on Sept. 22.

Bromage and the rest of the Panthers are back in action on Saturday, Oct. 18 as they take on Florida Southern. Kick off set for 7:00 p.m. EST at Rick Stottler Field.
