DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The Florida Tech women's rowing team wrapped up the fall season at the Florida Fall Invite on Saturday, Nov. 8.
The regatta consisted of 5000-meter head races followed by 1000-meter sprint races. Competing schools were Jacksonville University, Stetson University, Embry-Riddle University, and Florida Tech.
The Varsity 8 placed 7
th in the Women's Championship 8+ 5K Head Race with a time of 18:46.05.
The Lady Panthers closed out their fall season with an exciting dual 1K sprint against Jacksonville, finishing with a time of 4:21.02. Despite a slight mishap midway through the race, the crew remained composed and focused, quickly regaining their rhythm. They managed to regain their lead and hold it through the final stretch, crossing the line five seconds ahead of JU. It was an exciting and memorable way to wrap up the fall season!

This wraps up the Lady Panthers' fall season. They will next be in action on Saturday, Feb. 21, as they take on Rollins College to kick off the spring season.
