CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Florida Tech men's and women's teams wrap up the first day of the Queens Fall Frenzy on Thursday, Nov. 20. Both teams competed in one event, the 800 men's and women's free relay.

The women's team, swam by Abby Briggs, Miranda Olhasso, Dakota Scott and Kayleigh Jollands finished in 10th place with a total time of 7:40.39. Briggs swam her leg in 1:52.93, Olhasso followed with a 1:55.21, Scott finished her portion in 1:55.82 and Jollands a 1:56.43. The women earned 34 points for the race.

The men's team was disqualified due to an early start and did not receive any points for the event.

Both teams will be back in action on Friday, Nov. 21 for day two of the four day meet at the Queens Fall Frenzy.
