INDIANAPOLIS, IN – Efe Ongoren continued competition as the Florida Tech swimming program's representative on Thursday at Day Three of the 2025 NCAA Division II National Championships at the IU Natatorium.
The Sakarya, Turkey native competed in the 200 Free with Ongoren posting a time of 1:38.90, good for 34th overall.
Efe is the first Panther men's swimmer to compete in the 200 Free since Emanuele Rossi in 2017.
Up Next: Ongoren will compete in the 500-yard freestyle on Friday at the NCAA Division II Swimming and Diving Championships. The prelims are scheduled for 11 a.m., followed by the finals at 6:30 p.m.
