DAYTONA Beach, Fla. – A quick outing on the Panthers' second day of the Running Elements Classic. Tech ran in three events, the 100-meter, 400-meter and 800-meter dashes.
Anthony Akpan began the day by first placing sixth in the 100-meter final, then finishing in 31
st place in the 400-meter, with a personal best of 50.47
The highlight of the evening was
Jason Hargesheimer, sprinting to a 1:54.61 for a top 20 placement in the 800-meter dash. Three other Panthers ran the race with all three crosses in the top 100.
UP NEXT: The Panthers will compete in the first SSC Outdoor Track Conference Championships on Saturday, April 19.
