LAKELAND, Fla. – Florida Tech men's track sent two to Southeastern for a final chance to improve their times.

Mikey Roberts both were successful in their goals on Friday night.

After breaking his 400-meter time twice at the SSC Championships,
Mikey Roberts was looking to break it again and the program's all-time record of 47.46. Despite missing the record, the freshman surpassed his career best again by 0.17 seconds with a 47.50 and fourth place in the event. Roberts remains the third fastest to run the event in school history.

In the 400-meter hurdles, Bessi broke his personal best time he set at the 2025 SSC Championships when he won the SSC title with a 54.29, increasing his lead on the program record. The sophomore's time would take fifth place in the event.
