DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Florida Tech closed out the SSC Outdoor Track Championships with a strong final day, highlighted by a runner-up finish from Diego Estebanes in the 400m hurdles and a third place showing in the 4x400 relay. The Panthers finished sixth overall at the conference meet with 25 points.

The final day opened with Florida Tech earning three points in the 4x100-meter relay, placing sixth with a time of 42.39.

Benjamin Peck led a group of four Panthers in the 1500-meter, finishing 14th in 4:00.15. Noah Heal followed closely behind in 17th at 4:04.91, while Brycen Haner and Jake Greene narrowly missed personal bests, placing 19th and 20th just under the 4:10 mark.

Mikey Roberts delivered in the 400-meter final, breaking his personal record for the second straight day with a 47.67 to finish sixth and add three more points for Tech.
In the 400-meter hurdles, Diego Estebanes nearly kept the title in Panther hands, racing to a career-best 54.40 to claim second place.

Florida Tech added depth in the 5,000-meter run, with Thomas Carpenter, Rhett Turner, and Ethan Mudur finishing 15th, 16th, and 20th, respectively.

The Panthers closed out the meet with a strong showing in the 4x400-meter relay, earning a podium finish of third place with a time of 3:15.58—even without Malachi Johnson in the lineup.
