190 Panthers Named to the SSC Spring Honor Roll

A total of 56 Florida Tech scholar-athletes earned a 4.00 GPA during the 2025 spring semester.

MELBOURNE, Fla.- The Sunshine State Conference announced its 2025 Spring Commissioner's Honor Roll on Tuesday, and 190 Florida Tech scholar-athletes were recognized for their outstanding performance in the classroom.

Of the 190 scholar-athletes, 56 earned a perfect 4.00 grade-point average during the 2025 spring semester.

Florida Tech posted a 3.45 department GPA, with every team earning at least a 3.1 GPA or higher in the spring semester.

A total of 2,255 scholar-athletes have been named to the 2025 Spring Sunshine State Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll. Additionally, 521 scholar-athletes carried a perfect 4.00 GPA for the spring semester.

The number of 2025 honorees breaks the previous record number of 1,833 scholar-athletes named to the 2024 Spring Commissioner's Honor Roll. This year's numbers mark the sixth time the SSC has recognized over 350 perfect grade-point averages on the Spring Honor Roll, besting the previous record of 517 perfect grade-point averages set in 2020.

To be eligible for the Spring SSC Commissioner's Honor Roll, a scholar-athlete must post a minimum grade-point average of 3.20 on a scale of 4.00. Participants in the sports of men's and women's basketball, men's and women's swimming, men's and women's lacrosse, baseball, softball, and men's outdoor track are eligible for the spring honor roll.

Having won 135 Division II National Championships since the league was founded in 1975, including a league-high eight in 2024-25, SSC scholar-athletes have proven successful in competition in addition to the classroom. SSC scholar-athletes recently achieved an NCAA Division II record 90 percent Academic Success Rate (ASR) following the 2023-24 academic year. The SSC ranks first among NCAA Division II conferences in ASR and has never fallen below second in the metric's 18-year history.

Below is a breakdown of the Florida Tech scholar-athletes on the Fall Honor Roll.
