KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Florida Tech men's and women's soccer teams were ranked in the most recent United Soccer Coaches poll. The women's team received the ranking of No. 19 while the men's team comes in at No. 22.
For the women's team, this is their second ranking of the 2025 season as they were tabbed No. 21 in the preseason poll. Tech comes into the new week with a 4-1-3 record including a 1-0-2 start in Sunshine State Conference play.
Last week, the Panthers had a pair of road contests which came against Rollins and No. 19 Embry-Riddle. Tech was victorious against the Tars as they scored three goals in the final five minutes of the game to defeat Rollins. Against the Eagles, the Panthers came away with a 1-1 draw with a goal in the 86
th minute by
Sara Batchadji to secure the tie.
For the men's team, they are on a roll as they have won four out of their last five matches and have a record of 4-0-2 (2-0-0 SSC).
The Panthers dominated in their previous two matches as they defeated Rollins 2-0 on Wednesday, Sept. 24 and Embry-Riddle on Saturday, Sept. 27. Tech now has three clean sheets in 2025.
Both teams are back in action on Wednesday, Sept. 27 as the women's team takes on Saint Leo at 7:00 p.m. EST at Rick Stottler Field. The men's team plays the Lions on the road at 7:00 p.m. EST.
