MELBOURNE, Fla – The Florida Tech men's swimming's
Akos Hajagos and
Dan Kunin have been named to the All-Sunshine State Conference teams as announced by the league office Thursday.
Akos Hajagos, a junior from Budapest, Hungary, lands on the All-SSC First Team for the second time in his career as he did so in 2024. At the SSC Championships, Hajagos placed third in the 200 IM with a finals time of 1:47.20. He followed that up with a second-place finish in the 400 IM with a time of 3:51.71. Hajagos will represent the Panthers at the 2026 Division II National Championships in the 100 Fly, 200 Fly, 200 IM and 200 Back.
Dan Kunin, a junior from Kiryat Bialik, Israel, received his first All-SSC selection in his career as he was named to the All-SSC Third team. At the SSC Championships, Kunin notched a school record time of 2:01.46 in the 200 Breast. He added a seventh-place finish in the 100 Fly with a time of 47.82 and a sixth-place finish in the 200 Fly with a time of 1:47.79. Kunin is listed as an alternate for the 2026 Division II National Championships for the 100 Fly and 200 Fly.
Hajagos, Kunin and the five other Panthers selected for the 2026 Division II National Championships will be back in action on Tuesday, Mar. 10 for day one of the championship meet.
