OCALA, Fla. – The men's and women's swimming teams wrap up the final day of the 2026 Sunshine State Conference Championships on Sunday, Feb. 15.
SSC teams competed in the 1650 free, 100 free, 200 back, 200 breast and 400 free relay.
Melissa Zucco earned a top five finish in the 200 back as she swam a B-cut time of 2:01.47.
Isabella Sarvis finished inside the top 10 in the same event with a time of 2:04.81.
In the 200 breast,
Corinne Roberts came in with a time of 2:20.18 which earned her a ninth-place finish for the event.
Dan Kunin notched a new Florida Tech school record in the 200 breast as he touched the wall in 2:01.46. His time was 11
th in the event and third in the "B" final.
The women's 400 free relay came in fifth as Brie Wescott,
Sonia Peters,
Torie Whitbeck and
Sam Bullard combined for a finals time of 3:34.15.
On the men's side, the tandem of
Lucas Mitchelmore,
Akos Hajagos,
Efe Ongoren and
Andy Pleiman swam a school record time in the 400 free relay with a time of 2:56.01. Just .03 faster than their seed time.
UP NEXT
The Panthers will now wait for Feb. 25 when the individuals who qualified for the National Championships will be announced.
