MELBOURNE, Fla. – The Sunshine State Conference has announced that Florida Tech women's lacrosse's Gillian Craig was awarded SSC Offensive Player of the Week on Monday, Mar. 2.
 
Craig is the first Panther to win an SSC Player of the Week award since Kailee O'Brien won it on Apr. 11, 2022. 
 
Gillian Craig, a redshirt senior from Merritt Island, Florida, has been an offensive juggernaut to start 2026 season, totaling 20 goals through six games. Last week, Craig notched her fifth hat trick of the season on the road against No. 17 Regis. She followed it up with a four-goal-effort against Colorado Mesa which gave her seven total points for the week.
 
Craig and the rest of the Panthers will be back in action on Tuesday, Mar. 3 as they take on the Assumption Greyhounds at 7:00 p.m. EST.
