Jax Francisco has been named SSC Defensive Player of the Week on Monday, Mar. 23.
Jax Francisco, a redshirt senior from Westminster, Maryland, collects his second SSC defensive player of the week award as he did so the week of Mar. 9.
Francisco recorded a season-high 16 saves against No. 18 Embry-Riddle. He had a save percentage of .667 and only allowed eight goals. Francisco leads a Panther defense that has held opponents to under double-digit goals six times this season.
The Tech goalie has the second lowest goals against average in the SSC at 8.28, has the third most saves in the conference with 90 and is third with 11.25 saves per game.
Francisco and the rest of the Panthers are back in action on the road against Lynn on Saturday, Mar. 28.
