Melbourne, Fla (Swimming) - On Saturday morning, the Panthers got back in the pool hosting Oklahoma Baptist. Florida Tech last race came back in November when they hosted the annual Panther Invitational.
In the second event, the Panthers took second place in the men 200 yard medley relay with a time of 1:35.00. The relay was led by
Emanuele Rossi,
Dain Rust,
Filip Dujmic and
Victor Rocha Furtado.
In the mixed 400 yard butterfly relay, Florida Tech placed third with a time of 3:50.89. Participating in the relay was
Robert Catron, Nicole Rautemberg Maidana, Mikaela Barger and
Adi Davidov.
In the mixed 400 yard backstroke, Florida Tech placed second and third. The first relay led by Peyton Baranowski,
Farran Barker,
Reston Bartlett and
Nicolas Colomer concluded with a time of 3:52.84. The second relay led by Gabija Karosas, Kennedy Nolan,
Carlos Obregon and
Ferron Van Ritter.
The Panthers took second and third place in the mixed 400 yard breastroke relay with a time of 4:19.60 and 4:35.01. The first relay was made up of Rust, Carter Juskevich, Savannah Brennan and
Jose Coiman-Acosta. The second relay was led by Sydney Goodman, Emma Oleniczak,
Michael Ardito and
Elias Econopouly.
The Crimson and Gray will be back in the pool January 19 against Nova Southeastern in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. The event is set for 12 p.m. ET.
