Men's Soccer to Host NCAA D2 Super Region 2 Opening Rounds

MELBOURNE, Fla. – For the second straight year, the Florida Tech men's soccer team will be hosting the first and second rounds of the 2023 NCAA DII Men's Soccer Championship on Nov. 16-18 at Rick Stottler Field. The Panthers were named the second seed in the NCAA DII Super Region 2 on Monday evening with an 11-2-4 record.

On Thursday, Nov. 16, at 6 p.m., Lynn from the Sunshine State Conference will face Chowan, a member of the Conference Carolinas.

The second-seeded Panthers drew a first-round bye and will be pitted against the winner of the Lynn and Chowan contest on Saturday, Nov. 18, at 6 p.m.
 
Florida Tech is making their second consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance and their 12th overall.
 
Admission will be $10 for adults and $7 for students with IDs, senior citizens, and children ages 2-12. Children under the age of 2 shall be admitted free when accompanied by a paying adult. Tickets can be purchased at the gate or online: First Round | Second Round

The first 200 Florida Tech students will be admitted free of charge.

The Super Region 2 is comprised of teams from the Sunshine State Conference, Peach Belt Conference, Gulf South Conference, Conference Carolinas, and the South Atlantic Conference.
 
The upper half of the bracket is being held in Gaffney, S.C., and Miami Shores, hosted by top-seeded Limestone (14-2-2) and fourth-seeded Barry (12-4-1). Limestone will face the winner of the Clayton State (15-3) and Lenoir-Rhyne (7-5-5), while Barry will take on fifth-seeded Lincoln Memorial (11-4-3).
 
The bottom half of the bracket is being staged in Melbourne and Wingate, N.C. Third-seeded Wingate (10-5-7) will face six-seeded West Florida (11-1-5).
