KANSAS CITY, Mo.– The accolades continue to pour in for members of the Florida Tech men's soccer team, as three Panthers were named All-Americans by the United Soccer Coaches Association.

Sjur Drechsler was selected to the First Team for the second straight year, with goalkeeper
Iker Bastida, and Forward
Ettore Casadei being named to the Second Team.
The three Panthers become Tech's 14
th, 15
th, and 16
th All-Americans in program history.
Dreschler, a junior out of Stavanger, Norway, anchored the Panther defense.. The Panthers have allowed 25 goals this season, posted four shutouts, and have limited their opponents to 7.7 shots per game. The junior tallied four goals, including two in the NCAA Tournament, and two assists. He was named to the USC All-South Region First Team, D2CCA All-South Region First Team, All-SSC First Team, and SSC All-Tournament Team.
Bastida, a graduate student out of Azpeitia, Spain, posted four shutouts, 54 saves, and a .701 save percentage over 20 games. The goalkeeper came up with several big saves during the team's NCAA Tournament run to keep their run alive, including making two stops in the penalty kick shootout in the round three match-up against West Florida. Bastida was named to the USC All-South Region First Team and All-SSC Second Team.
Casadei, a Cervia, Italy native, appeared in every game this season, providing an offensive spark. The forward leads the Panthers with 22 points on nine goals and four assists. He's notched four game-winners, including the winning goal against Lynn in the second round of the NCAA Tournament. Casadei was named to the USC All-South Region First Team, D2CCA All-South Region Second Team, All-SSC Second Team, and SSC All-Tournament Team.
Florida Tech concluded the 2023 season with a 13-3-5 overall record and a Final Four appearance.
