STATS OF THE MATCH:
First Set:
- Despite Cordelia Kearns and Chiara Patelli smashing early kills, it was all Nova Southeastern early in the match.
- The Sharks started with an 11-5 lead, helped by a 5-0 run. Nova Southeastern's Elizabeth Price went on a tear with five kills during the span.
- Following the 11-5 deficit, the Panthers scored four straight points. However, later in the set, the Sharks went on another run, with six consecutive points for a 21-14 lead.
- Tech was not done going on a 6-1 stretch, highlighted by two service aces by Jeanne Hassoun and Kearns. The Panthers eventually tied the score at 24 a piece.
- After a back-and-forth, Nova scored three straight to secure the 30-28 win.
Second Set:
- The second set started better for the Panthers, taking an early 5-3 lead on the backs of a Kenzie Delacher kill and a Hassoun service ace.
- Nova Southeastern responded with a 6-3 stretch to earn the 9-8 advantage.
- Following, Tech rolled off four straight to take back the lead. Patelli, Tessa Mati, and a couple of attack errors led the charge.
- When one run happens, the other team responds on their own. Nova would not stay down for long, tallying the following five points for the 17-15 lead.
- The two teams traded the lead throughout the second set until the Sharks took the set 27-25.
Third Set:
- The third set looked bright for the Panthers at a 2-2 score, but the Sharks powered their squad to an 8-3 run and later a 9-2 run for a massive 22-11 advantage.
- Lilian Muszynski compiled two kills, and Kari Voelstad Bogen recorded two aces to keep the Panthers alive. However, Nova Southeastern got their final three points for a 25-17 victory.
NOTABLE PANTHERS:
- Cordelia Kearns led with 15 kills and 13 digs. Kearns has tallied 10 or more kills in every game this season.
- Chiara Patelli also recorded double-digit kills, with precisely ten on just 14 attempts for a .643 hitting percentage. It is the fourth time Patelli has tallied a hitting percentage of .500 or higher this season.
- Kai Voelstad Boden led the team with 18 digs and three service aces.

- Florida Tech moved to 22-35 all-time against Nova Southeastern
