MELBOURNE, FLA – Head Coach
Jordan Willis and the Florida Tech Volleyball program have announced their schedule for the upcoming 2026 season. The Panthers will play nine road matches out of conference and 20 matches against Sunshine State Conference opponents.
Tech will begin the 2026 campaign in Daytona Beach on August 28
th against Edward Waters. The Panthers will play two more matches in Daytona Beach on August 29
th before heading to Colorado for a four-match round-robin hosted by CSU-Pueblo on September 4
th and 5
th. These four matches feature contests against the host, CSU-Pueblo, Minnesota Duluth, Fort Lewis and Adelphi.
These matches are in honor of legendary coach Royce Cappis, a longtime assistant coach at CSU-Pueblo, who coached alongside head coach
Jordan Willis and coached Panther assistant coach Pualehua Keola for all four years of her college career. Royce passed away two years ago due to cancer and the tournament is named in honor of his years of sacrifice and dedication to volleyball at CSU-Pueblo.
The Panthers will wrap up their eight-match road trip to begin the year by heading back to Daytona Beach, where they will face Lewis University. The program's home opener will also serve as the first conference match and first "Aloha Friday" match of the year will see the Panthers hosting Nova Southeastern on September 19
th at 7:00 PM. Tech will also face Lynn the following day at 4:00 PM.
The team's first road conference contest will take place on September 22
nd against Barry in Miami Shores before returning home for one match against Palm Beach Atlantic on September 26
th. The Panthers will begin the month of October with five straight road matches against Eckerd, Saint Leo, Tampa, Florida Southern and Lynn. Following the string of road matches, Tech will return home for a Friday-Saturday home weekend against Rollins and Embry-Riddle on October 16
th and 17
th.
The Panthers will wrap up their non-conference slate with future Sunshine State Conference member Flagler on October 20
th in Saint Augustine. Two days later, the Panthers will head to Palm Beach Atlantic to wrap up their regular-season series with the Sailfish. Starting on October 27
th, Tech will have their longest and last home stand of the season. They will play five straight home matches against Barry, Saint Leo, Eckerd, and Florida Southern, with the final game against Tampa serving as the program's Senior Day on November 7
th.
The Panther volleyball program will finish the regular season with three road matches against Nova Southeastern and Embry-Riddle with the season finale against Rollins on November 14
th.
