CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Florida Tech men's and women's teams were back in the pool for Day Two of the Queens Fall Frenzy on Friday, Nov. 21. Friday's action saw the beginning of individual competition as relay action continued.
Through 12 events, the Crimson and Gray men stand in sixth place with 222 points, while the Panther women are 10
th with 135.5 points. The combined team score of 357.5 points sees Tech in eighth place.
The highlight of the day for the women's team happened in the 50 Free B Final, where
Miranda Olhasso set a new school record in the event with a time of 23.68 seconds. The previous mark of 23.75 had been held by Nicole Rautemberg, set at the 2023 SSC Championships.
Efe Ongoren earned third place in the men's 500 Free A Final thanks to a time of 4:27.19, a time that qualified for the NCAA B-Cut. The B Final saw
Antoni Fronczak take third with a 4:29.45 finish that was fast enough for NCAA B-Cut qualification.
Dan Kunin's 1:49.72 time in the men's 200 IM A Final garnered him eighth place as well as an NCAA B-Cut qualifying time.
Andy Pleiman's eighth place finish in the men's 50 Free A Final saw him put up a time of 20.01 that earned him an NCAA B-Cut.
Lucas Mitchelmore's time of 20.29 was also good for an NCAA B-Cut qualification.
In relay action, the men's 200 Free team of Pleiman, Mitchelmore, Emiel Van Oord and
Dylan Ostolaza earned fifth place with an NCAA B-cut time of 1:19.76.

Both teams return to the pool tomorrow Saturday, Nov. 22 for day three of the four-day meet at the Queens Fall Frenzy. Prelims begin at 9:30 A.M. and the finals are slated to start at 5:30 P.M.
