OCALA, Fla. - The men's and women's swimming teams competed in day one of the Sunshine State Conference Championships on Wednesday, Feb. 11.
There was only one event in the first day of the conference championships with both the men and women competing in the 800 free relay.
The men's team came in fourth place and was composed of
Efe Ongoren,
Antoni Fronczak,
Akos Hajagos and
Lucas Mitchelmore set the program record time of 6:31.36.
On the women's side,
Abby Briggs,
Kayleigh Jollands,
Torie Whitbeck and
Sam Bullard swam a time of 7:48.93. Their time was sixth in the "A" final.
UP NEXT
Both teams will be back in action on Thursday, February. 12 for day two of the SSC Championships.
