Hall of Fame
The 1982 women's varsity four was inducted into the Florida Tech Sports Hall of Fame on Friday, Feb. 28, 2014. The crew became Florida Tech's first women's boat to win gold at the national championship Dad Vail Regatta, and first FIT boat to win gold at the prestigious Head of the Charles Regatta. During the same season, they also helped the team capture the Dad Vail Combined Championship, the Southern Intercollegiate Rowing Association Overall Championship and the Florida Intercollegiate Rowing Association title.
The team members included JoAnn (Alden) Michalsky, Christine Bredenkamp, Laurie Kuestner, Sue (Brown) Wasik, Sharon Gallagher, Sharon Trepiccione, and Mike Davenport (Head Coach).
