Justin Sedlak, a name that resonates with the Florida Tech Sports Hall of Fame, was inducted in 2018. His offensive and defensive prowess, demonstrated during his tenure with the men's basketball program from 2006-11, was truly exceptional. Sedlak is the second leading scorer in the program's history, a feat marked by his 1,896 points. His impact was not limited to scoring; he also ranks in the top five for rebounds (837) and blocks (81). Sedlak's versatility is a testament to his skill, being one of only three Panthers to amass 1,000 points, 500 rebounds, and 100 steals.

In his final season, Sedlak played 29 games and scored a career-high 579 points, averaging almost 20 points per game, which was top-five in the SSC. He also recorded 33 three-pointers, 219 rebounds, 23 assists, 48 steals, and 25 blocks, all of which were suitable for fourth-best in the conference. His outstanding performance earned him the titles of Daktronics All-South Region Player of the Year, First Team, and Second Team All-America. NABC recognized Sedlak on their All-South Region Second Team and DII Bulletin All-America awarded him Honorable Mention. The Sunshine State Conference gave him All-SSC First Team honors for the first time.

After missing most of the 2008-09 season, Sedlak returned strong for his junior year in 2009-10. He registered 502 points, 27 three-pointers, 210 rebounds, 28 assists, 36 steals, and 23 blocks in 25 games. He earned a spot on Daktronic All-South Region Second Team and All-SSC Second Team. He was again in the top five in both scoring and rebounding in the SSC.

Sedlak was incredibly efficient his sophomore season, hitting 52.8 percent of his shots for 17.8 points per game. He also compiled a career-high 37 three-pointers, 234 rebounds, and 31 assists for the first of his three seasons in the top five in conference scoring and rebounding. He made the second team in Daktronic All-South Region, NABC All-South Region and All-SSC.

He came out as one of the best freshmen in the conference, recording 312 points, 173 rebounds, 30 steals, 25 assists, 21 blocks, and 22 three-pointers made. He made the SSC All-Freshmen Team.
