Hall of Fame
Paula Lillsjo, a celebrated Florida Tech Women's Soccer team member, was inducted into the Florida Tech Sports Hall of Fame in 2020. Her exceptional skills as a shot creator for the team earned her this prestigious recognition.
Paula Lillsjo's influence was not limited to individual records. She was the first All-American in program history, a testament to her exceptional talent. Her leadership, a cornerstone of the team's success, propelled them to the NCAA Tournament all four seasons from 2008-2011. She was a pivotal member of the program’s first-ever NCAA Tournament Team in 2008 and a 2010 NCAA Final Four Team member.
Lillsjo finished her career, notching a goal and three assists and registering 1368 in 17 starts. Her efforts earned her Daktronics All-South Region Second Team recognition and All-SSC Second Team honors.
As a junior, the Helsingborg, Sweden native assisted on four goals in her 22 starts. The conference honored her stellar season with a first-team All-SSC selection. Lillsjo also earned a spot on the NSCAA All-America Third and All-South Region First teams.
She played 19 games and started 18 during her sophomore campaign. Along with her five assists, she scored one goal for seven points on the season. One of her assists led to Tech's first-ever win over Saint Leo.
Lillsjo broke out as a freshman, starting in 18 games and appearing in 20 total. She had the highest goal total of her career, three, while also registering four assists for 10 points. She was named the season's conference player of the week and ended the year on the All-SSC Second Team.
Lillsjo was a Florida Tech Women’s Soccer team member and graduated in 2011.
