Peter Walcott, a shining example of dedication and perseverance, was honored with his induction into the prestigious Florida Tech Sports Hall of Fame in 2020. As a men’s basketball team member from 1992-95, Walcott's performance was unparalleled. He was one of two Panthers to secure three consecutive First Team All-SSC Awards. His name is etched in the Florida Tech men's basketball records for career free throws made and attempted, going the line 784 times and making 566. He was a significant contributor on defense too with top-five program marks in steals (163) and steals per game (2.03)

The three All-SSC First Team selections came in his final three seasons. In his first season as a Panther, Walcott immediately showed the conference his talents, winning SSC Freshman of the Year and All-SSC Third Team recognition. He also made the most consecutive free throws by any Panther with 18 in a row.
