Hall of Fame
Mark Cartwright was inducted into the Florida Tech Sports Hall of Fame on March 19, 2016. Cartwright was a three-year men’s soccer team member from 1991-93. He was the starting goalkeeper for the Panthers during the winningest period in program history, as Florida Tech went 56-5-2 with three consecutive Sunshine State Conference crowns, the 1991 NCAA Division II National Championship and the program’s only undefeated season in 1993 (19-0-1). Cartwright ended his career as the most decorated keeper in program history and still owns five single-season program records and two career marks.
In his three seasons with the Panthers, he earned All-SSC First Team honors all three years. He wrapped up his career with 59 starts in 60 appearances, recording 215 saves and an impressive 0.90 goals-against-average.
In his final two seasons at Florida Tech, Cartwright shined and earned numerous personal accolades. He was named to the All-SSC First Team both seasons and to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America All-Region Second Team in 1992.
Cartwright set the standard right away in his first season. As a freshman, he was awarded the team's Rookie of the Year. Cartwright guided the Panthers to their second-ever National Championship.
