Martin Peat, a testament to dedication and hard work, was inducted into the Florida Tech Sports Hall of Fame in 2020. His numerous accolades and exceptional talents between the goalposts are a source of inspiration for all. Peat was a three-year men’s soccer team member from 1994-97, a period marked by his relentless pursuit of excellence, and he landed on an All-SSC team all three seasons. He also holds the program records for career saves (379) and shutouts (19)

In his senior season, Peat tallied 97 saves, the third most in program history for All-SSC Honorable Mention. This came after an 83-serve season, which was the fifth-highest in a single year.

He took it up a notch for his sophomore season, making a Florida Tech men's soccer record 118 saves, which earned him All-SSC Second Team recognition.

Peat came on the scene, shutting out seven teams to earn SSC Co-Freshman of the Year, All-SSC First Team, and USC Second Team All-America honors his first year.
