Elisa Bartolo, an athlete of exceptional dedication and hard work, was inducted into the Florida Tech Sports Hall of Fame in 2001. Bartolo, a dual-sport star, excelled in both softball and volleyball during her tenure from 1992-96. Her name is etched in the NCAA Division II records for her extraordinary feats-she holds the record for consecutive hits (12) and career runs scored (215). Bartolo's prowess is further evident as she ranks second in career hits (295) and stolen bases (201), and is currently 5th in Division II history for career batting average (.466). Her legacy at Florida Tech is unparalleled, as she remains the Panther's all-time career leader in hits (295), batting average (.466), stolen bases (201), and runs scored (224.) In the SSC’s career leader board, Bartolo's dominance is evident-she is first in stolen bases, second in batting average and hits and third in walks.

During her senior season at Florida Tech, Bartolo hit for .549, only below herself in the program record books, and a program-high 71 runs scored.  Bartolo claimed the NCAA Division II Batting Title for the second straight season. She also stole the most bases by a Panther with 72. The Panthers won their most games under Head Coach Nancy Bottge with a 33-25 record, a testament to Bartolo's impact on the team. Bartolo received her second First Team All-American honor and first All-Region First Team from NFCA. Bartolo was also recognized by the conference, earning All-SSC First Team.

Bartolo's best season may have come in 1995, when she was named SSC Player of the Year and the NCAA Division II Batting Champion, the program's first and only. She recorded a program-high .581 batting average, which led the conference, with a program-best 108 hits. She also scored 70 runs, drove in 12 runs, and stole 67 bases. Bartolo received her first NFCA All-American and All-SSC First Team honors.

Due to an injury, she only played seven games in 1994. In 1993, Bartolo hit for .328, scored 40 runs, and drove in 22 RBI. She earned All-SSC Second Team. In her freshman season, Bartolo recorded a .338 batting average, 31 runs, two home runs, 12 RBI, and 33 stolen bases.
