Florida Tech Panthers

Robert Dunlap was honored with his induction into the esteemed Florida Tech Sports Hall of Fame in 1990. Dunlap is recognized as the "Father of Florida Tech Rowing" as he sponsored and directed Florida Tech Rowing to its first Florida Championship in the Freshman/Novice Eight in 1968-69. He served as the Florida Nuclear Commission Executive Director from 1962-67 and Assistant to the President of Florida Tech from 1967-69. Then, Dunlap was the Florida Tech Director of Marine Facilities Development from 1969-1978.
