Hall of Fame
Paul Ouellette, a name that resonates with excellence, was rightfully inducted into the Florida Tech Sports Hall of Fame in 2020. His outstanding career on the baseball team, marked by numerous program records, is a testament to his unparalleled skill and dedication. Ouellette's name is etched in the program's history, holding the records for career triples (19) and total bases (389), and ranking among the top five in home runs (32), RBI (167), hits (224), slugging percentage (.551), and runs (149). His achievements also extend to the SSC, where he holds top-five season marks in many of the same statistical categories.
In his senior season, Ouellete hit an SSC record .387 with 78 total hits, which is the second most ever in the conference. He also had 11 home runs, the second most in the SSC, and 46 RBi, the fourth most in a season by an SSC player. Those numbers earned him All-SSC First Team and All-South Region honors. He finished his stellar career, leading the Panthers to their first-ever NCAA Tournament appearance.
After a fantastic sophomore campaign, Ouellette was put on the Preseason All-America list going into his junior season. A sophomore year that saw him smack 10 home runs and eight triples, which earned him his first All-SSC First Team and All-South Region honor. He began as a Panther as a member of the All-SSC Second Team in his freshman year.
